What is an Elevator Consultant?
Mitchell Hellman Elevator Consulting
With 35+ years of experience in the elevator industry, Mitch can bring his experience and insight to your case or problem.
Mitch isn’t just a suit- he’s had experience working in almost every aspect of the elevator industry. This gives Mitch a unique perspective into the internal workings of elevator companies and their policies. The ideal expert witness for any case involving elevators, Mitch can both testify on the stand and offer deposition coaching services. He can help with case evaluation, enabling you to ask better and more pressing questions.
Mitch was recruited out of college by Otis Elevator, where he then spent 3 years working in the field as a mechanic, and then spent an additional 4 years working in field supervisory roles. Over the next 7 years, his career expanded to primarily commercial roles while at Millar Elevator Industries, Inc. His responsibilities included sales and marketing, billing, collections, and management of legal claims.
In 2002, Mitch founded City Elevator. He was the managing partner and served as President from 2002 to 2020. During his tenure, Mitch was heavily involved in elevator system design, code compliance, installation, and service delivery.
